Hello and welcome to Classic Seiko
I have been an avid fan & collector of vintage Seikos for many years. What started out purely as a collection gradually evolved into selling a few pieces and has now developed into the business it is today. My main area of interest is mechanical pieces from the 1960's and 70's but I also sell the odd quality quartz watch that happens to grab my attention.
Buying, Restoring & Selling Vintage Seiko
Buying, restoring and selling watches of quality is something I absolutely love doing. My aim is to offer a simple experience, helping you find the right watch from a trusted source at a realistic price. On this site you can find a wide range of watches for sale, browse watches previously sold or ask me to source that particular, elusive piece that you've been searching for.
Allow my passion, experience and knowledge help you buy your first - or tenth! - Vintage Seiko. Please check out and follow my Instagram page by clicking here for first viewings and early access to watches that will be coming up for sale but might not yet be listed on the website.
A word of caution: It may come as a surprise considering Seiko are not generally seen as 'high end' that many watches you will see for sale out there have been 'restored' using aftermarket (in other words fake) parts. These include, but are not limited to, dials, hands, bezels and even case-backs. It used to be quite easy to spot these watches but fake parts are getting ever more sophisticated and to the untrained eye, it can be very hard to tell AM from original parts. I have spent years doing research, gaining and sharing knowledge with other enthusiasts learning the tells that help identify suspect pieces. There are plenty of resources out there to help you do your own research but of course 'Buying the seller' is an easier way to avoid the pitfalls and hopefully as you are here it means you are considering doing just that. Feel free to contact me with questions and I am always more than happy to provide referrals for extra peace of mind.
